You'll never feel alone in your travel journey as a Wondermaker! It's our priority to provide our agents with resources, tools, and a supportive, creative environment as they build their new biz. We've been in this industry for a long time, and we know it can be overwhelming when getting started on your own..what in the world do I do first? That's where we come in! We have created the tools to make it easier on you, right from the start. Here are some of the things you'll be equipped with when you join our team:

An agency family who is always brainstorming, sharing ideas and creations, with a non-competitive attitude toward each other. We do not welcome negativity, so you can rest assured you will always be surrounded by support and love in our group!

Hundreds of Canva creations created by Ginny and several other talented Wondermakers to use for your business. This includes packets for your clients, resources for your social media, and so much more! Our brand has already been created, and we are sharing all of it with you, so you don't have to focus on anything except building your client base.

A small mentorship group headed up by a creative group leader, providing you with another layer of support in the agency

Access to our Wondermakers Only Facebook group, where we communicate daily about happenings, news, and all geeky things! You'll be able to ask and answer questions, take part in challenges for prizes, be a part of our live stream each week where we sit and chat with the whole agency, and more. It's a great place to be!

A training program that will not only teach you about the destinations you sell, but how to actually complete tasks as an agent, so you don't feel lost as you're starting out...because who has time for that?

Ongoing training in our Agent Training Lab! Want to know more about creating content? Photography? How to use My Disney Experience? Marketing strategies? We have you covered! It's an ongoing lab you can view at your own pace on top of your initial training program, and topic pods are always being added every few weeks.

We strive to be different.
From our colorful and unique branding, to the way our agents are involved in our agency, we want to be as unique as possible in the travel industry. We want our clients to feel taken care of in a special way that they can't experience anywhere else. And, we want our Wondermakers to feel surrounded by support and feel they are seen and heard.
Ok, ok, you've sold me! But how do I know if I "qualify" to become a travel agent?
Let's take a look at some of the qualifications we look for when choosing our Wondermakers, shall we?

A strong desire to BE a travel agent! :)

A passion for Disney or Universal destinations! No minimum travel required, but we do ask that you have visited a Disney destination at least twice in the last 3 years

A large social circle (think colleagues, family, friends, social media followers, local groups, etc etc) you could potentially market to/network with

The ability to feel comfortable and confident sharing your business
​

Organizational skills and a "can-do" attitude

The desire to be involved, to stay active with your business, and to continue learning and developing
​

Being active on social media. No minimum follower count is required, but we do communicate with you via Facebook and require you to be on the app and create a biz page at the completion of training

So, what's in it for a travel agent?
Let's answer some Frequently Asked Questions about TAs.
How am I employed/associated with an agency as a travel agent?
Our agents are independent contractors, meaning you will fill out a W-9 and receive a 1099 for taxes.
How do I get paid?
You are paid via commission on the trips your clients take. We offer high commission splits, with opportunities for growth. We keep track of commissions in a very organized way, using a CRM along side our agents that tracks their earnings, lets them know what their upcoming commissions are, and organizes all client information and reservations.
When do I get paid?
Payments are sent from suppliers after the trip is taken, and our agents are paid at the first of each month via direct deposit or mailed check.
Can I only book Disney?
All Wondermakers are trained to book Disney and Universal Destinations, but our agency is also onboarded with many other suppliers! It's your choice whether or not you sell/train for other suppliers (like Beaches and Sandals, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Marriott Properties, Expedia, etc) but the opportunity is there if you'd like!
What other benefits other than commission can I expect?
As a Wondermaker, you'll earn 100% of the commission for your own personal travel, as well as the opportunity to earn discounted travel agent rates at the destinations you book!
